Hello, my name is Fin (she/they).

I’m a matcha drinker, out-loud thinker, frequent crier, feeler of feelings, and haver of long conversations. Literature and movies were my first loves.

With an educational background in clinical social work and graphic design, I used to work with coaches and mental health professionals as an identity explorer and brand-alignment guide. I loved supporting other service-oriented humans to feel less alone as they run identity-driven solo businesses while navigating complex pressures and systemic challenges along the way.

That work is currently on pause.

I’ve wanted to have a blog for so long…a regular old-fashioned personal blog like we used to have, where I can share the random things and creations and experiences of my everyday life…not necessarily for anyone other than myself, and the handful of people who might care to follow along.

On the other hand, I’ve never found it easy to create and share openly with the world, for having little time and energy to spare, and being mindful of maintaining privacy and anonymity. These are challenges I am desirous of navigating, however.

These days, I spend my time moving in and out of the following things: learning piano, putting together mechanical keyboards and USB cables, trying and failing to study electronics and radio communications so that I can get my ham radio licence for no fathomable reason whatsoever, crafting items through several sewing and needlework practices, and constantly engaging in the seemingly futile endeavour to declutter my space.

But enough about me, let’s talk about you…
what do you think of me?

I also tend to get myself into various DIY projects around my home stemming from the need to organize things as efficiently as possible, and making them as accessible as I can, while keeping the visual clutter to a minimum—I cannot function otherwise, but hate that I forget things exist if I put them away…such is the plight of many an AuDHDer.
